National consultation on strengthening educational governance held

The School Education Department hosted a two‑day nationalist consultation connected strengthening acquisition governance done Vidya Samiksha Kendras (VSK) and APAAR ID, astatine T-Hub successful Hyderabad connected Monday and Tuesday (February 23 and 24, 2026)

Jointly organised by the Ministry of Education, National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) done its Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET), the consultation deliberated connected enhancing integer infrastructure, interoperability of acquisition platforms, and real‑time information usage for argumentation decisions.

Delegates from respective States and Union Territories shared champion practices successful utilizing VSK dashboards for tracking pupil attendance, foundational learning, and targeted world support.

Professor (Education) astatine CIET‑NCERT, Indu Kumar, emphasised the nationalist imaginativeness for data‑driven governance utilizing VSKs that are aligned with the 6A framework: Attendance, Assessment, Administration, Accreditation, Adaptive Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.

Director (Digital Education), Department of School Education & Literacy, Harikumar Janakiraman; Director, NCERT, Dinesh Prasad Saklani; Director of School Education & State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha, E. Naveen Nicolas, and others led the two-day consultation.
