National Census: Bengaluru corporations warn absentees of strict action

Facing wide absenteeism successful the ongoing National Census–2027 exercise, metropolis corporations nether the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) person issued warnings to enumerators and supervisors, directing them to immediately report to duty, noting that nonaccomplishment to comply will lead to strict ineligible and disciplinary enactment nether the Census Act, 1948. 

Across corporations, officials said thousands of enumerators and supervisors had already been appointed and trained, but a conception of unit either skipped grooming or failed to report to their assigned census blocks.
