Continuing investigations into the MUDA scam, the Directorate of Enforcement (ED), Bengaluru Zonal Office connected Saturday (October 4, 2025) provisionally attached 34 immovable properties, including MUDA sites having a marketplace worth of ₹40.08 crore nether the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

According to the authoritative release, the ED initiated probe connected the ground of the FIR registered by Lokayukta Police Mysuru successful the lawsuit of alleged largescale scam successful allotment of tract by Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA).

“Investigation revealed routing and layering of undue gratification obtained by G.T. Dinesh Kumar, erstwhile Commissioner of MUDA. Such proceeds of transgression were utilized for purchasing immovable properties successful the sanction of comparative and associates of G.T. Dinesh Kumar. Further probe besides revealed amerciable allotment of 31 MUDA sites by G.T. Dinesh Kumar,” said the release.
