A 63-year-old antheral who had been reported missing from Mavungal was recovered dead, trapped successful a parked excavator astatine a operation tract adjacent the Subramanya temple present connected Wednesday.
Police said the deceased was identified arsenic Surendra Mohanan (63) of Nellikkatte, Kanhangad. His assemblage was recovered wedged adjacent the substance vessel of the excavatore parked adjacent to his ancestral location astatine Mavungal.
Surendra Mohanan had been missing since Sunday. After receiving accusation that helium was seen successful the Mavungal area, relatives launched a search, during which the assemblage was discovered. Fire and Rescue Services units reached the spot and retrieved the body.
Relatives said Surendra Mohanan suffered from representation related illness. His member Pavithran, a Deputy Tehsildar, had died a week ago. He is survived by his woman Shantha and sons.
