Labour Minister G. Vivek Venkatswamy assured farmers that the State Government would procure each atom of paddy produced by them, and warned that the authorities would not tolerate attempts to provoke farmers for governmental gains.
The Minister visited a fewer paddy procurement centres successful Mancherial territory connected Thursday on with the District Collector Anudeep and Civil Supplies section officials. He reviewed the procurement process and interacted with farmers during his visit.
He said that the paddy accumulation was importantly higher this season. While astir 1.10 lakh tonnes of paddy were procured during the erstwhile season, the authorities aims to proceed procurement operations till June 6 and procure astir 1.70 lakh tonnes this time.
He stated that 3 warehouses had been readied successful Peddapalli territory for paddy storage.
