Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy connected Saturday urged the Food Corporation of India (FCI) Chairman & Managing Director Ashutosh Agnihotri for further allocation of parboiled atom nether KMS 2024–25 (Rabi).
During a gathering with the FCI main successful theSecretariat, Mr. Uttam Kumar Reddy explained that portion the Centre has fixed a people of 30 LMT of parboiled atom for KMS 2024–25 (Kharif & Rabi), truthful acold 17.06 LMT of parboiled rice, and 0.87 LMT of earthy rice, has been delivered. Another 2.34 LMT of parboiled atom and 14.26 LMT of earthy atom are yet to beryllium supplied.
The Civil Supplies Minister said fixed the suitability of the existent Rabi play for parboiled rice, helium urged FCI to authorisation an further 10–12 LMT quota. He besides impressed upon the request for other railway rakes to expedite movement, noting a shortfall of 13.5 LMT compared to past year.
