Minister inaugurates State-level chess competition under CM’s trophy in Salem

Tourism Minister R. Rajendran inaugurated the State-level chess competitions for schoolhouse students nether the Chief Minister’s Trophy astatine Salem Nehru Auditorium connected Saturday (October 4, 2025) and interacted with the schoolhouse students.

Later, speaking to the reporters, helium said the Chief Minister’s trophy competitions are held each twelvemonth nether 5 categories: schoolhouse and assemblage students, public, differently-abled, and authorities employees. The district-level Chief Minister’s trophy competitions were held from August 28 to September 12 and the winners qualified for the State-level competitions.
