Minister hands over solatium to families of Kadayanallur bus accident victims

Revenue Minister K. K. S. S. R. Ramachandran connected Monday handed implicit the authorities solatium to the families of six persons, who were killed successful the head-on collision of 2 backstage buses adjacent Kadayanallur connected November 24 last.

While ₹3 lakh each was fixed to the families of the six deceased, ₹1 lakh each was fixed to the families of the 35 earnestly injured passengers and ₹50,000 each was fixed to families of passengers who sustained insignificant injuries.

Mr. Ramachandran besides flagged-off 16 caller municipality buses to beryllium operated successful 13 caller routes including Tenkasi to Alangulam via Surandai, Tenkasi to Veeraanam, Alangulam – Kadayam, Sankarankovil – Surandai, Sankarankovil – Vasudevanallur, Alangulam – Panavadalichathram, Sankarankovil – Maruthankinaru, Kadayanallur – Shencottai, Kadayanallur – Surandai, Sundaresapuram – Tenkasi, Agasthiyarpatti – Paavoorchathram, Alangulam – Mela Kalangal and Shencottai – Thekkumedu.
