Seeking to incentivise states towards ensuring that mines are placed faster for auctions, the Mines Ministry instituted an inducement strategy with an outlay of ₹5,000 crore for fiscal twelvemonth 2026-27.

Incorporated nether the Scheme for Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI), it centres astir quicker operationalisation of mines, readiness successful placing mines for auction, governance and integration with the Ministry’s cardinal monitoring portal.
