Activists of the Maharashtra Ekikaran Samiti (MES), who were connected their mode to Kolhapur to conscionable Union Minister Amit Shah, allegedly to kick astir “injustice” to Marathi speakers, were stopped by the Belagavi constabulary connected Saturday.
According to sources, the constabulary stopped the MES leaders and activists astatine Hattaragi Toll Naka. They reportedly wanted to complain that the Karnataka authorities was snubbing them continuously on connection issues, sources said.
The constabulary said that the radical was stopped from proceeding further as a precautionary measure.
Mr. Shah had a scheduled sojourn to Kolhapur connected Saturday.
