The authorities has approved one-time fiscal assistance of ₹500 crore to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to fortify the city’s sanitation strategy and curb particulate pollution, the Chief Minister’s Office stated connected Friday. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said the funds would beryllium utilized for sanitation works and roadworthy repairs, including filling of potholes and completing patchwork.
