Maulana Hafiz Peer Shabbir Ahmed, erstwhile Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) and president of the influential socio-religious organisation Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, passed distant aboriginal connected Sunday. He was 78.
