Mantri Mall has paid ₹5 crore towards its pending spot taxation dues to the Central Corporation, days after the promenade was unopen down connected November 20 for accumulating arrears amounting to ₹30 crore.
Corporation Commissioner Rajendra Cholan P. received the pending taxes during his sojourn to the corporation’s spot taxation verification centre in Chickpet.
Mr. Cholan said the corp has intensified its enforcement efforts. “The cardinal corp has galore commercial establishments, and respective person pending taxation payments. We are doing a travel up connected those establishments,” he said.
