The Mangaluru metropolis constabulary person started the process of attaching properties of sureties to accused who person absconded aft securing bail.
In a property release, the constabulary said accusation astir the properties and magnitude of sureties related to the absconding accused person been collected. On the orders of courts, these properties were being attached and amounts were being confiscated.
In the past 1 month, properties were attached successful 5 transgression cases and amounts were confiscated by courts successful 2 transgression cases.
The proceedings for attachment of properties were pending successful 4 transgression cases. And becasue of this move, accused voluntarily appeared earlier courts successful 2 cases, the constabulary said.
Cautioning sureties, Police Commissioner Sudheer Kumar Reddy said they should bash a inheritance cheque of persons earlier lasting arsenic their surety.
Meanwhile, the Dakshina Kannada constabulary person arrested Farook alias Umar Farooq of Sajipa Mooda village, who had failed to look earlier the tribunal successful implicit 20 transgression cases.
