Experts of Pulikulam Cattle Research Station at Manamadurai in Sivaganga district informed nationalist and farmers to marque usage of the authorities facility operating under Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS) to get trained for livestock management, preservation of indigenous breeds, sustainable fodder production, and integrated manure techniques similar vermicomposting.
V. Palanichamy, Professor and Head of the facility, stated that the centre chiefly focuses connected reviving the declining colonisation of Pulikulam cattle breed. He noted that it is 1 of the Tamil Nadu’s astir salient indigenous breeds, traditionally raised successful ample herds crossed the confederate districts of Sivaganga, Madurai, Virudhunagar, and Ramanathapuram.
