Man ‘spying’ on Ambala Air Force Station for Pakistan arrested

The Haryana Police connected Tuesday (January 6, 2026) arrested a antheral for allegedly spying connected the Ambala Air Force Station and sharing delicate accusation with Pakistan, officials said.

The accused, Sunil Kumar, a nonmigratory of Sabka colony nether the Saha country successful Ambala, had been successful interaction with a pistillate connected a Pakistani societal media level for the past 7 months, they said.

The accused was besides successful interaction with a contractor moving astatine the Air Force Station and often visited the premises. He allegedly shared his location, photos and videos with the Pakistani pistillate done a mobile application, the constabulary said.

Honey trap suspected

The constabulary said Sunil Kumar often chatted with the pistillate and is suspected of having fallen into a chromatic trap.

Ambala DSP (Crime) Virender Kumar said preliminary probe revealed that the accused was passing connected accusation related to the Air Force Station to a neighbouring country.

He has been sent to a four-day constabulary remand by a section court, helium said.

The DSP said information deleted from the accused’s mobile telephone is being recovered, and further probe is underway to ascertain whether others are besides involved.
