Excise officials connected Tuesday seized unaccounted currency to the tune of ₹67.5 lakh from a backstage autobus and detained a man, P. Sameer, 41, of Cheleri adjacent Taliparamba, during inspections held up of the section assemblage polls and the Christmas-New Year season.
