Man held on charge of online fraud in Kozhikode

The Cyber constabulary squad present arrested Basim Nujoom, 32, of Kayanna, connected complaint of swindling ₹76.35 lakh from a nonmigratory of Kozhikode aft promising him profits successful online concern plans.

According to constabulary sources, the accused convinced the complainant that helium would get profits aft depositing wealth successful archetypal nationalist offerings and the stock market. Later, helium reportedly made the complainant transportation ₹76.35 lakh done 20 transactions to aggregate slope accounts. The constabulary had issued a look-out announcement against Nujoom aft the occurrence came to light. He was detained astatine the Mumbai airdrome subsequently. The constabulary squad went to Mumbai and took him into custody.
