The merchandise was packed successful 1 litre poly packs and was supplied to section markets and pooja stores astatine ₹600 per kilogram, falsely claiming to beryllium genuine.

Police seized astir 200 kg adulterated ghee, a weighing machine, a packing machine, packing covers and a mobile phone, each valued astatine astir ₹1.5 lakh. Officials said that the enactment posed a hazard to nationalist wellness and amounted to cheating consumers for unlawful gain. Legal enactment is being initiated nether applicable provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) Act.
