The constabulary connected Monday (March 16, 2026) arrested a 55-year-old antheral for allegedly sexually abusing an eight-year-old miss astatine Chintalapudi mandal successful Eluru district. The accused has been identified arsenic B. Ramulu, Chintalapudi Circle Inspector Kranthi Kumar said.
The constabulary said that the girl’s grandma lodged a ailment alleging that Ramulu, who was their neighbour, was sexually abusing her granddaughter. The Chintalapudi constabulary registered a lawsuit nether Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, and different charges against the accused, the CI said. The miss was sent for aesculapian examination, helium added.
