The Andhra Pradesh Lorry Owners’ Association has urged the Union authorities to found a Transport Ombudsman for the roadworthy transport assemblage to code the challenges faced by motortruck operators crossed the country.
Speaking to The Hindu connected Sunday, the association’s State president Y. V. Eswara Rao, who is besides vice-president, South Zone, of the All India Motor Transport Congress, said respective pressing issues necessitate urgent attraction and organization intervention. He said a dedicated Transport Ombudsman would assistance supply timely solutions to grievances affecting motortruck owners and drivers.
