London-Hyderabad British Airways flight gets bomb threat, lands safely

A Hyderabad-bound British Airways formation from London has received a weaponry threat, prompting aerodrome authorities to initiate modular information protocols aft the craft landed here, airdrome sources said connected Tuesday (December 23, 2025).

The lawsuit enactment work of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport successful Hyderabad received a message bearing a weaponry menace to the BA 277 formation from Heathrow to Hyderabad connected Monday (December 22, 2025), they said.

"The formation landed safely, and a modular information protocol was initiated. The formation has already departed for Heathrow," the sources told PTI.

Standard information protocols see isolation of the aircraft, screening of baggage and passengers, keeping occurrence engines acceptable and pressing sniffer dogs into service, among others, sources added.

Earlier this month, 2 akin emails targeting Indigo's Madina–Hyderabad and Sharjah-Hyderabad flights were received by the airport, separately.

Madina–Hyderabad formation was diverted to Ahmedabad Airport.
