The Andhra Pradesh Upa Lokayukta has ordered outgo of Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) and Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) dues to the tune of ₹50.24 lakh to the outsourcing unit moving successful 32 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) successful Srikakulam district.
The Upa Lokayukta conducted enquiry into the ailment alleging that the cooks, attenders, accountants, watchmen and sanitation unit were paid honorarium aft deducting wealth towards EPF and ESI, which was not credited to the accounts of the unit from June 2018 to January 2020.
