A unrecorded 9 mm slug was recovered from the container of a rider astatine the Moosapet Metro Station connected Saturday night. Kukatpally constabulary booked a case.
According to officials, the incidental came to airy erstwhile Metro Rail unit detected the slug during regular rider screening and alerted the police.
On Sunday, investigators recovered that the slug belonged to the boy’s stepfather, identified arsenic Mohmad Alam, 28, a regular wage labourer engaged successful fabrication enactment and residing astatine Pragathi Nagar, Moosapet. Alam, who hails from Bihar, reportedly brought the slug from his autochthonal place. Police said further enquiry is successful advancement to ascertain the crushed for possession and transport of the ammunition.
