Kurnool constabulary returned 529 mobile phones worthy much than ₹1 crore to their owners astatine the 4th signifier of the Mobile Recovery Mela connected Wednesday (April 15, 2026).

Superintendent of Police Vikrant Patil said the constabulary had recovered and returned 2,402 mobile phones worthy ₹4.08 lakh to owners crossed the 4 phases of the mela. The phones were either mislaid by their owners oregon stolen during autobus oregon bid journeys oregon astatine festivals and fairs, helium said. The phones were recovered from Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, and assorted districts of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Patil added.
