KRCL collects ₹2.53 cr. in fines from ticketless travellers in January

The Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd., has collected ₹2.53 crore successful fines from radical travelling without a summons connected its web during the period of January.

A merchandise said that KRCL continues to transportation retired intensive and sustained ticket-checking drives crossed its web to forestall ticketless and irregular travel, thereby ensuring safe, creaseless and comfy journeys for bona fide passengers.

It organised 1,014 peculiar summons checking drives, detecting 44,736 cases of unauthorised/irregular travellers during the month. Cumulatively, betwixt April 2025 and January 2026, a full of 9,495 peculiar ticket-checking drives were conducted realising ₹22.81 crore fine.
