The Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission connected Thursday notified the KSERC (Renewable Energy and Related Matters) Regulations, 2025, by making important changes and modifications to the draught proposals that had drawn disapproval from prosumers.

Prosumers with renewable vigor (RE) generating systems with capableness up to and including 10 kW are exempted from outgo of grid enactment charges. Above this limit, grid enactment charges would beryllium levied monthly, astatine the complaint of 50 paise per portion for the archetypal 300 units and ₹1 per portion for the equilibrium units.
