The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) has cleared a Capital Investment Plan (CIP) with a full outlay of ₹6,478.41 crore for the 2026-27 fiscal. This includes an outlay of ₹848.79 crore for powerfulness generation, ₹1,175.48 crore for transmission and ₹1,669 crore for the powerfulness organisation side.
The KSEB has earmarked ₹100 crore for the implementation of astute meters, ₹17 crore for the mentation of elaborate task reports for pumped retention projects (PSP), ₹170 crore for artillery vigor retention systems (BESS) and ₹52 crore for electrical conveyance charging stations.
