Kerala State Electricity Board nod for ₹6,478.41 crore plan outlay for 2026-27

The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) has cleared a Capital Investment Plan (CIP) with a full outlay of ₹6,478.41 crore for the 2026-27 fiscal. This includes an outlay of ₹848.79 crore for powerfulness generation, ₹1,175.48 crore for transmission and ₹1,669 crore for the powerfulness organisation side.

The KSEB has earmarked ₹100 crore for the implementation of astute meters, ₹17 crore for the mentation of elaborate task reports for pumped retention projects (PSP), ₹170 crore for artillery vigor retention systems (BESS) and ₹52 crore for electrical conveyance charging stations. The KSEB is eyeing the PSPs and BESS for addressing the situation of storing the excess renewable vigor produced during the daytime from star and different sources.
