The Kerala State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) is acceptable with the draught Oil Spill Contingency Plan (OSCP) aimed astatine processing a structured attack to marine lipid spills.

A Bengaluru-based firm, which was entrusted with the enactment successful June 2025, has submitted the draught OSCP. It includes lipid spill modelling, marine sensitivity scale mapping and nett biology payment analysis, according to a study submitted by the KSPCB earlier the National Green Tribunal (NGT) connected April 20, 2026.
