The Kerala authorities connected Monday sanctioned ₹74.34 crore to the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) for the outgo of pensions.
The authorities has sanctioned ₹933.34 crore to the transport inferior truthful acold this year, Finance Minister K.N. Balagopal said. This includes ₹350 crore sanctioned arsenic peculiar assistance and ₹583.44 crore meant for the outgo of pensions.
The 2025-26 Kerala Budget had earmarked ₹900 crore for the KSRTC.
Over the past 9 years, the State authorities has supported the KSRTC with a fiscal assistance of ₹12,906 crore, Mr. Balagopal said. This includes ₹5,002 crore sanctioned during the erstwhile Left Democratic Front (LDF) authorities and ₹7,904 crore fixed during the existent government’s term, the Minister said.
