Kerala government allocates ₹20 crore for pension, benefits of retired Anganwadi staff

A sum of ₹20 crore has been allocated for the organisation of pension and benefits of retirees from Anganwadis successful the State.

The assistance was allocated to the Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Welfare Fund Board. The board, which is not financially self-sufficient, distributes assorted benefits to the retirees with authorities assistance.

The committee receives ₹2.15 crore arsenic monthly payment money allocation. However, it requires a sum of ₹4. 26 crore for the organisation of pension alone.
