UDF workers observe the triumph of their campaigner V.P. Sajeendran successful Kunnathunadu Assembly constituency connected Monday.

Notwithstanding an aggravated three-cornered contest, V.P. Sajeendran wrested backmost the Scheduled Caste–reserved constituency of Kunnathunadu for the United Democratic Front (UDF), securing an awesome triumph for his 3rd word arsenic legislator.

In a constituency known for constrictive margins, Mr. Sajeendran defeated the CPI(M)’s sitting MLA P.V. Sreenijin by a grounds borderline of 21,283 votes. The 2 polled 70,292 and 49,009 votes respectively, portion Twenty20 campaigner Babu Divakaran besides enactment up a stiff combat with 40,221 votes.
