As per the recommendations of the Expert Committee connected Reforms successful Technical Education, headed by erstwhile manager of International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT-B), S. Sadagopan, the State authorities has decided to found the Karnataka Engineering Education Reform Authority (KEERA).

Briefing the mediaabout the committee report, Higher Education Minister M.C. Sudhakar said, “We volition bring successful structural reforms successful engineering acquisition based connected the recommendations of the report.
