Kashmiri girls bring sea-wonder, chef-day magic to Vallikkunnu fisheries school in Kerala

A radical of students and teachers from Srinagar’s Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Kothi Bagh, had a unsocial taste acquisition with the small children of Government Fisheries Lower Primary School, Kadalundi Nagaram, connected Wednesday.

The taste sojourn of the 10 Kothi Bagh schoolhouse girls and 3 teachers was arranged by the Faizal and Shabana Foundation (FSF), which has adopted the Srinagar schoolhouse and renovated it connected the exemplary of Government Vocational Higher Secondary School for Girls, Nadakavu.

The FSF is giving a world-class uplift to the Kothi Bagh schoolhouse by spending ₹20 crore, and its archetypal signifier inauguration is acceptable for October 27. The instauration had already transformed the Kadalundi Nagaram fisheries schoolhouse onto a field with state-of-the-art facilities by spending implicit ₹1 crore.

The fisheries children treated their Kashmiri guests to taste events specified as Oppana and Mapilapattu. The children’s mothers brought rima watering Malabari dishes from home, giving the visitors a wow experience.

As it was the school’s cook day, the chefs from Tulah Wellness Sanctuary, Chelembra, joined the celebrations and shared a repast with the children and visitors.

The Kashmiri radical besides visited the Tulah Wellness Sanctuary and experienced wellness practices, sustainable landscaping and Tulah’s doctrine of holistic living.

Later they visited the Kadalundi-Vallikkunnu Community Reserve, the archetypal assemblage reserve successful Kerala.

School heamistress Reena P., Vallikkunnu panchayat president Shylaja K., FSF’s fisheries schoolhouse task manager Nimmy Theresa and task coordinator Anagha N.V. welcomed the visitors.
