Kashmir court declares man dead 28 years after he ‘disappeared’ in Army custody

A tribunal successful Jammu and Kashmir connected Wednesday (April 8, 2026) declared a antheral dead 28 years aft helium was arrested by the Army and “disappeared” successful Srinagar. 

“His [victim] whereabouts stay chartless contempt judicial enquiry and constabulary investigation. He has not been heard of for much than 7 years by those who would person people heard of him. Thus, the ineligible presumption of decease squarely applies,” observed Sub-Judge Massarat Jabeen.
