According to prosecution, S. Prabu of Pitchampatty was murdered by a pack connected July 5, 2021 owed to a household dispute. Fourteen persons were named arsenic accused successful the case. K. Rajadurai, 31, K. Dharmadurai, 29, and Abishek of Manavasi were among them.
