Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar connected Thursday said that the Karnataka authorities has signed an statement with Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) to make state from bedewed discarded successful Bengaluru.

Mr. Shivakumar said that GAIL is mounting up a ₹123 crore portion to make state from bedewed waste, and that authorities authorities has already allotted the onshore for the same. This, the DCM said, is the archetypal specified inaugural successful Bengaluru and the authorities is acceptable to motion much agreements successful this regard.  

The works volition initially make from 300 tonnes per time of bedewed waste, astir 12 tonnes per time of compressed biogas, and 21 tonnes per time of Fermented Organic Manure (FOM). This volition assistance trim the occupation of discarded successful Bengaluru, Mr. Shivakumar said, adding that the state volition beryllium distributed to industries and hotels.
