Karnataka High Court directs State Government to ‘strictly and faithfully’ implement menstrual leave policy

The High Court of Karnataka connected April 15 directed the State authorities to ‘strictly and faithfully’ instrumentality the menstrual permission (ML) argumentation mandating registered establishments to assistance one-day permission per period to women employees, aged betwixt 18 and 52 years, during their menstrual rhythm till the projected instrumentality connected ML is enacted. 

Upon enactment of the projected instrumentality — Karnataka Menstrual Leave and Hygiene Bill, 2025, the State shall, without immoderate undue hold framework due regularisation to springiness afloat and meaningful effect of the mandate, the Court said.
