Karnataka has won the nationalist grant for having the highest under-construction upwind capableness successful 2024–25. The designation was presented during the seventh variation of Windergy India 2025, the country’s flagship upwind vigor lawsuit held successful Chennai. 

The grant was received by T.D. Raje Gowda, MLA and president of the Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL), and K.P. Rudrappaiah, managing director, KREDL, from Pralhad Joshi, Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and New and Renewable Energy. 

Inaugurating the Karnataka pavilion, Mr. Joshi commended the State’s progressive renewable vigor policies and said: “When the authorities and manufacture travel together, we tin execute singular milestones successful the renewable vigor sector. It reflects the powerfulness of partnerships successful driving innovation, boosting capacity, and gathering a sustainable aboriginal for our country”.
