The Kalasha Jyoti procession of Goddess Kanaka Durga was taken retired with grandeur atop Indrakeeladri connected Thursday evening, marking the 44th yearly solemnisation of the Bhavani Deeksha tradition.

Devotees participated successful ample numbers, carrying illuminated kalashas and chanting ‘Jai Jai Durga’, transforming the metropolis streets into a spiritual spectacle.

The Bhavani Deeksha, inspired by the verses of Lalita Sahasranama that glorify the Goddess arsenic Bhavānī, Bhadrāpriya, Bhaktasaubhāgya Dāyinī, has been observed since 1981, pursuing the guidance of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peethadhipatis.
