Deepak to beryllium the ineligible heirs, the I-T section decided to retrieve the arrears from them and sent intimations connected July 13, 2025 and August 4, 2025.

Though Ms. Deepa had approached the High Court challenging the August 4, 2025 communication, Mr. Deepak wrote to the department, done his authorised representative, connected August 11, 2025 and sought for extesion of clip to wage his stock of ₹6.75 crore towards taxation arrears, Mr. Srinivas said.

Thereafter, helium wrote yet different missive connected October 14, 2025 and sought support to wage the outstanding magnitude successful instalments. The I-T section accepted his petition and permitted him to wage ₹6.75 crore successful six equated monthly instalments betwixt October 2025 and March 2026.

However, Mr. Deepak paid ₹1.12 crore connected October 15, 2025 and November 15, 2025 and of that amount, ₹62.50 lakh was paid by mentioning his PAN fig alternatively of the PAN fig of Jayalalithaa.
