The Indian Navy successfully concluded the biannual associated workout ‘Jal Prahar 2025’, a associated amphibious workout conducted successful adjacent coordination with the Indian Army.

The Harbour Phase was conducted from September 16 to 20, 2025 astatine Visakhapatnam and it focused connected induction and integration of the service troops onboard INS Gharial, a Magar-class amphibious warfare ship.

This included onboard training, information briefings, predisposition towards a mariner’s life, sports and interactions sessions to foster camaraderie.

The Sea Phase was conducted from September 21 to 23 astatine Kakinada and it witnessed the execution of amphibious operations, which included hard beaching, launching of LCAs (Landing trade assault) and BMPs (amphibious infantry warring vehicle), and validation of SOPs and Joint Training Protocols.
