External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has met with French President Emmanuel Macron and discussed modern planetary developments and appreciated his “positive sentiments for strategical partnership”.

Mr. Jaishankar, who is connected a six-day sojourn to France and Luxembourg, besides addressed the Ambassadors’ Conference of France connected Thursday (January 8, 2026).
