The Mutharaiyar Ezhuchi Sangam has urged the authorities to contented Denotified Communities / Denotifed Tribes (DNC/DNT) certificates to Ambalakarars and Valaiyars.
In a connection here, association’s honorary president S. Panneerselvam said that Ambalakarars and Valiayars, the sub-sects of Muthariayar successful 18 districts, had been wrongly issued Most Backward Community certificates, thereby depriving them of benefits nether State and Union authorities schemes. The certificates should beryllium withdrawn and alternatively DNC/DNT certificates should beryllium issued to them, helium said and demanded an enquiry and enactment against the officials liable for issuing the incorrect assemblage certificates.
