Israel said connected Sunday (May 3, 2026) it had approved a multi-billion-dollar woody to get 2 combat squadrons of combatant jets from the United States.

The acquisition includes a squadron of F-35 multi-role stealth fighters from Lockheed Martin and different of F-15IA warplanes from Boeing, the Defence Ministry said.
