Irrigation Advisory Council guarantees water for 1.9 lakh acres in rabi season in Kakinada district

The Kakinada District Irrigation Advisory Council (IAC) has prepared to supply irrigation for supra 1.90 lakh acres of country successful the rabi play 2025-26.

The IAC chaired by Kakinada District Collector S. Shan Mohan has prepared an enactment program for the rabi play 2025-26 which volition commence from the archetypal week of December.  Mr. Shan Mohan has stated that supra 1.9 lakh acres of country would beryllium guaranteed of irrigation facility; 1.05 lakh acres from the Godavari delta system, 32,000 from the Pithapuram subdivision canal and remainder is from the Yeleru irrigation system.
