The Indian Coast Guard Ship (ICGS) Akshar, the 2nd successful a bid of 8 Adamya-class Fast Patrol Vessels (FPVs), was commissioned astatine Karaikal connected Saturday.
The vas was commissioned by Dipti Mohil Chawla, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Defence. Additional Director-General Donny Michael, Coast Guard Commander (Eastern Seaboard), was present.
