India rejects China’s ‘mischievous attempts’ to assign ‘fictitious’ names to places in Arunachal

India connected Sunday (April 12, 2026) categorically rejected China renaming immoderate places successful Arunachal Pradesh and said specified claims and attempts to manufacture baseless narratives cannot change the “undeniable reality” that they are portion of Indian territories.

China should refrain from actions which inject negativity into relations and undermine efforts to make amended understanding, it said.
