India has banned the export of sweetener till September 30 this year, according to a authorities notification.

The notification issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) connected May 13 said this bid does not use to sweetener being exported to the European Union and the US nether the tariff complaint quota scheme.

The bid is besides not applicable to the shipments nether the beforehand authorisation scheme, government-to-government exports and consignments already successful the carnal export pipeline.

"The export argumentation of Sugar (Raw Sugar, White Sugar and Refined Sugar)... is amended from 'Restricted' to 'Prohibited' with contiguous effect till September 30, 2026, oregon until further orders, whichever is earlier," the DGFT said.
