Telangana Food Safety Department inspected 55 pizza establishments

Telangana Food Safety Department carried retired a statewide inspection of pizza outlets, covering some the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) country and districts crossed the State. A full of 55 pizza establishments were inspected, including 18 Pizza Hut outlets, 16 Domino’s Pizza outlets, and 21 different section pizzerias and bakeries. The inspections revealed important lapses successful hygiene, licensing, and nutrient information practices crossed aggregate outlets.

Pizza Hut outlets

Among Pizza Hut outlets (operated by M/s Devyani International Limited and Sapphire Foods India Limited), 8 retired of 18 outlets were recovered violating norms. The issues observed includes mismatched licences and jurisdiction successful GHMC, improper retention of vegetarian and non-vegetarian items, unclean machinery successful Hanumakonda (Kazipet), issuance of aesculapian certificates without due introspection successful Warangal, and mediocre attraction of freezer temperatures and hygiene records successful Nizamabad and Nalgonda.

Domino’s Pizza outlets

And, 10 retired of 16 Domino’s Pizza (operated by M/s Jubilant FoodWorks Limited) outlets were flagged. Violations ranged from missing oregon expired licences successful GHMC and Nizamabad, overdue pest control, deficiency of mitt and disguise usage, unclean machinery successful Hanumakonda (Subedari), and nonaccomplishment to segregate vegetarian and non-vegetarian items successful Mahabubnagar.

Local establishments besides faced scrutiny, with six retired of 21 outlets recovered non-compliant. Hyderabad-based Pizza Paradise and Master V Bakers displayed expired oregon missing licences, overused oil, unlabelled nutrient items, rusty ovens, and unfastened cooking areas without insect-proof barriers. Medak’s Pizza Korner and La Pinoz Pizza successful Kokapet/Narsingi were flagged for uncovered vegetables, unmaintained pest power and aesculapian records, and nonaccomplishment to travel machinery cleaning schedules.

In response, unsafe nutrient materials were discarded immediately, samples were collected for testing, and Food Business Operators (FBOs) were issued instructions to rectify the violations without delay.
